French Terror : Attacker threatened Euro 2016 with a Facebook video

 


The man who killed a police commander and a woman in Magnanville, France, on Monday night threatened the Euro 2016 soccer championship in a Facebook video posted from the scene, a police source told CNN.


Larossi Abballa, a 25-year-old Islamic extremist killed a police commander and a woman in Magnanville, France, on Monday. The French-born killer fatally stabbed a police commander (Jean-Baptiste Salvaing), as well as his partner, (Jessica Schneider), after 8 p.m. on Monday. 

Abballa stabbed Salvaing first, and then took Schneider and the couple's 3-year-old son hostage in their home in Magnanville, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said Tuesday according to CNN

The killer also threatened that the tournament underway in France would "be like a cemetery," the source told also to CNN.
